Preparing your Computer/Device for Zoom Conference Use

By using the “Zoom Client for Meetings” application at the download link below, you will reduce the processor loading on your device and your internet bandwidth consumption, compared to joining a Zoom conference using your default internet browser application. Quoting Zoom, “the meeting experience from the browser is limited.”

1. Zoom Client for Meetings must be installed on your computer/device. Click the Zoom Download Center for the application.
2. Test your audio/video device setup before joining the conference by using the following tests provided by Zoom:
   • Testing Computer or Device Audio
   • Testing your Computer/Camera Video
3. Familiarize yourself with the Zoom controls and, if using the conference to radio net audio bridge, the PTT procedures.
