Clark Fishman, WA2UNN.

SK 12/24/2011

Was one of my Elmers (and probably hundreds of others, too).

When you're a wise-guy 20-something year old kid who thinks he knows everything about electronics, sometimes, in steps somebody who actually does, and helps you out, inadvertently enabling an entire career.

I got lucky and had several such somebodys. Clark was one of them.

Ted, ke4nbb and I worked the contest and had a great time. We weren't overly serious about working each and every hour so our score was 14,328 with 76 QSOs and 72 multipliers. The antenna was a compromise; it was like Field Day but more comfortable and with more power!

Operating this weekend was great! 10M was wide open, and there were tons of new DX Countries, so I am well on my way to DXCC.

I managed 344 QSOS with 175,863 Points, running Low Power, Assisted (the Cluster was helpful).
