Frostfest is one of the Mid-Atlantic's largest hamfests.

VE Testing, DXCC Card Checking, and forums and meetings, including the
ARRL Virginia State Convention.

Exam fees are $15 payable by cash or check, candidates need to bring
identification. Copies of licenses and CSCE's will smooth the application process. First-time applicants for a license need to provide either their Social Security number or an FCC Registration Number (FRN). Getting an FRN is easy, go to the www.fcc.gov website and follow the appropriate links on the left side of the page. If you're already licensed, your FRN is printed on your license.
